reacHIRE is open to applicants looking for remote work! Our office is located just outside of Boston, MA, but we have team members all across the United States.

 

As a Senior Program Manager for reacHIRE, your role is to oversee the successful planning and launch of our client’s return-to-work programs which support cohorts of returners as they navigate back to the full-time workforce after an extended career break. You will interact with our returners as a coach, group facilitator, and advocate, participating in building a positive and productive experience. In this role, you’ll help guide our clients through all people-related matters as they navigate challenges and embrace the opportunities provided by their return-to-work program. You’ll also help your clients be better leaders by supporting them in coaching, providing feedback, and managing performance of their returners. You will play a key role in creating a work environment where our returners can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the successful delivery of return to work programs (returnships) at client sites
  • Provides active leadership in support of recruiting and employment activities
  • Works with clients to plan, organize and manage their cohort of returners and assume client facing duties to work directly with leadership of assigned companies.
  • Manages the full onboarding process 
  • Coordinates all logistics, working with client IT, HR, L&D departments  .
  • Manages training/development activities during program’s duration
  • Provides career coaching for Returners on a monthly basis to ensure successful transition 
  • Works closely with the VP, Talent to provide hands on support in multiple areas including: recruitment, on-boarding, training, coaching, employee and client relations.
  • Manages, recommends and implements remedies on mid-level employee relations issues working closely with the Manager and client’s HR 
  • Maintains company & client’s policies adhering to local, state and federal regulations while meeting contractual requirements and obligations.
  • Provides current and prospective returners with information about company policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and employee benefits.
  • Engages with other department teams (Accounting, Marketing, Recruitment, Sales) to execute tactical operations.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships through interaction and frequent communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of equivalent work experience
  • 7-10+ years experience in Human Resources with a focus on people operations, organizational development, program management, and/or development of talent programs and strategy
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written and communication skills
  • Consulting skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with people of diverse backgrounds and professional levels.
  • Ability to multi-task at a high level, managing multiple programs at once across different industries, companies, and geographic regions
  • Experience working directly with C-Suite or company executives
  • Deep interest in our company mission
  • Experience using Applicant tracking system and Google Suite preferred 
  • Coaching certification or experience is a plus
