About the Role

We are a small product/dev team looking to grow. Because we’re small, every engineer gets lots of independence, areas of ownership, and influence on a new and exciting product. Your ideas will matter! No bureaucracy here – the CEO meets with the product/dev team regularly to hear our perspectives and ideas. 

We are transitioning to a mobile-first approach and we are looking to expand our early stage development team.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and deploying React Native mobile apps to the iOS and Android app stores
• Contribute to the design and implementation of an amazing end-user experience
• Use ReactNative and related client side and mobile technologies to design, build, and test a mobile application 
• Interpret requests and develop software in iterative design/build/test cycles using an Agile development process for a responsive web application
• Develop and expand unit and integration tests

Required Skills: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent software development experience
• 1+ year React Native experience   
• 7+ years of mobile application development experience
• 3+ years of client side development experience
• Experience in app store deployment
• Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles

Nice-to-haves:

• Familiarity with basic UI principles and experience working with designers is a plus 
• Automated testing, testing tools, and techniques
• Experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases
